Adelaide's Rack Specialists

Your server room is a
hidden failure point

Dust, heat and unmanaged cabling quietly increase the risk of downtime, hardware failure and audit issues. Most businesses don't see it until something breaks.

We clean, organise and fix your rack so it runs cooler, lasts longer and stays fully documented.

The Problem

Your server room may already
be working against you

Overheating, cable chaos, audit risk: all quietly building in your server cupboard. Most businesses don't realise the cost until something fails.

Unchecked dust and poor cabling shorten hardware lifespan. That drives up power costs and sends repairable equipment to landfill early.

Overheating

Most small businesses don't notice a problem until systems slow down or fail. Dust-clogged fans alone can raise rack temperatures by 8-15°C. This shortens hardware lifespan and increases failure risk.

Cable Chaos

Years of ad-hoc cabling create troubleshooting nightmares, extended downtime, and failed IT audits.

Audit & Compliance Risk

A neglected rack is a documentation problem too. Without a maintenance history, there is no evidence your infrastructure meets basic operational standards. That becomes a problem during audits, insurance reviews and due-diligence checks.

What We Do

We don't just clean racks.
We stabilise and protect them.

Every engagement is structured to reduce failure risk, improve airflow and give you back control of your environment. We work inside live infrastructure using processes built to prevent disruption.

Deep Rack Cleaning

Removal of dust and contaminants that restrict airflow and raise operating temperatures. Performed using ESD-safe equipment rated for live systems.

  • Outcome: improved cooling efficiency and reduced hardware stress
  • Before/after temperature readings included

Cable Management

Restructuring and labelling cabling to create clear, traceable connections throughout the rack.

  • Outcome: reduced troubleshooting time and lower risk of human error
  • Rack documentation map included

Airflow Optimisation

Identification and correction of airflow inefficiencies including hotspot detection and gap sealing.

  • Outcome: stable operating temperatures and improved system reliability
  • IR thermal scan and blanking panel installation included

Patch Panel & Hardware

Installation and organisation of supporting infrastructure to enable long-term maintainability.

  • Outcome: cleaner architecture and easier future changes
  • Full port documentation included

Measured Outcomes

What changes after a proper remediation

The results of a proper remediation are measurable and documented. You receive a before-and-after baseline that supports ongoing management and future audits.

Get a Quote

Thermal Performance

Lower rack temperatures and measurably improved airflow efficiency across active components.

Cable Traceability

Clearly labelled and structured cabling for faster fault isolation and reduced risk of incorrect changes.

Documented Baseline

A full baseline condition report for future reference, audit requirements, and ongoing management.

Reduced Downtime Exposure

Fewer unplanned events driven by thermal stress, cable error, or undocumented configuration.

How We Work

We work in live environments
using risk-controlled methods

We follow controlled processes aligned with how IT systems are actually managed. Every step is coordinated, documented and reversible.

No changes without approval

No cables are disconnected or moved without prior confirmation from your designated IT contact.

Coordinated with your IT team

Work is planned and executed in alignment with your IT contact or managed service provider.

ESD-safe throughout

Every tool and method used is rated for live, energised equipment. Static damage risk is controlled at every stage.

Full before and after documentation

Every job is documented with photographs, temperature readings, and a written report. You have a record of exactly what was done.

This is not general cleaning. This is controlled technical work performed inside live infrastructure.

About Us

vs. Generic Cleaners

We use ESD-safe tools and understand electronics. Generic cleaners risk voiding warranties or damaging sensitive hardware.

vs. Enterprise DC Cleaners

Enterprise providers charge $2,000+ minimums with weeks of bureaucracy. We offer SME-friendly pricing and typically schedule within a week.

vs. Your MSP

MSPs are often focused on higher-value projects. We specialise in physical infrastructure remediation. MSPs can engage us directly for their own clients.

FAQ

Common questions answered

Have something else in mind? Contact us directly.

What happens if something goes wrong during the work?
+

All work is planned, controlled, and documented before execution begins. We operate in direct coordination with your IT team and follow a strict change management process. Unexpected findings are photographed and escalated immediately - no work continues without your approval.

Do you work with MSPs or internal IT teams?
+

Yes. We integrate into existing workflows and align with your processes. We can work directly under the direction of an internal IT manager or a managed service provider. MSPs are welcome to white-label our service for their own clients.

Will this improve performance, or is it just maintenance?
+

Both. Improved airflow and reduced thermal load directly affect system stability and hardware lifespan. The maintenance work has measurable performance outcomes - not just a cleaner appearance.

Do we need to take systems offline?
+

Most work is completed with systems live and operational. Any changes that require a planned outage are agreed in advance with your IT contact before the job date.

How do we know if we actually need this service?
+

If your rack has visible dust accumulation, unmanaged or unlabelled cabling, or no maintenance documentation, there is likely measurable risk present. We can assess quickly - contact us with a brief description or photos and we will advise at no cost.

Can you work on live, energised equipment?
+

Yes. We use ESD-safe HEPA vacuums and anti-static chemicals rated for live electronics. We coordinate with your IT contact before beginning so no critical system is approached without explicit permission.

How long does a typical job take?
+

A Rack Stabilisation on a single 42U rack typically takes 2-3 hours - usually within the 3-hour minimum booking. A Full Rack Remediation on a heavily cabled rack can take 4-6 hours; time beyond the 3-hour minimum is billed at $50 per 30 minutes. We'll give you an accurate time estimate before we start, and we always notify you before additional time is charged.

Do you offer after-hours service?
+

Yes. Any package can be delivered outside 8am-6pm Monday-Friday at a 25% premium. Weekend and late-night availability requires 48 hours notice.

What areas do you service?
+

Our primary service area is Adelaide metropolitan, within 20km of the CBD - travel costs are absorbed into the package price. Outer metro and regional SA is available with a travel surcharge ($50-$120 depending on distance).

Will you provide documentation for our audit?
+

Absolutely. Every job includes a written report with before/after photos, temperature readings, and work performed - suitable for IT audits and management review.
